2024 STATE CONVENTION
Since 2024 is a Presidential Election we have the following elections that will take place at the DPH's 2024 State Convention: Party Elections, Congressional District National Delegates to the DNC in Chicago - 'Our Future is Created Here', and 2024 Presidential Electors.

On this page we will cover each one. As you will see each one has their own different requirements on who and how Delegates can vote.

How to cast your vote in the 2024 DPH State Convention
PARTY ELECTIONS
MAY 17 - MAY 18, 2024
Online
For the Party Elections that take place during the 2024 DPH State Convention - Senate District State Central Committee Representatives, National Committee Members, and Party Chair - every registered Delegate will receive a ballot via email from Admin@MRGVote.com (please place this in your email contact list) at the email that you used to register for the 2024 DPH State Convention. These election will be administered by our Election Vendor - Merriman River Group (MRG).

All Delegates will have 48-hours to cast their ballot online (see schedule below). Delegates will be able to vote using their smartphones, laptops, or desktop computers. Delegates that have not voted 12-hours before the close of voting will be sent a reminder to vote by MRG.

MRG will have a toll-free number that Delegates can call 24/7 if they have any issue voting online. This number will be included in the email with their ballot & instructions as well as with the email that MRG will send out earlier in the week.
If any Delegate that has trouble voting online that MRG cannot resolve, or if the Delegate does not want to vote online, they will be able to call a local number, during a time frame to be set in the near future. That phone number will be staffed by a member of the Elections Committee and the Committee member will take their vote over the phone and place their vote into MRG's system.

The other Officers for the Party - Vice-chair, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, and Assistant Treasurer are elected by the all the members of the DPH's State Central Committee at an organizational meeting that takes place immediately following the conclusion of the 2024 DPH State Convention.
CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT
NATIONAL DELEGATES
MAY 18, 2024
In-Person
Only Delegates that were elected at the Biennial Elections on March 6th or voted in to fill vacancies by their District Council (April 2 - May 1) sitting in a Delegate seat from the precinct where they reside, and appearing in person at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, that submitted their - 2024 Hawaiʻi State Convention Voter Pledge of Support* - form by May 2, 2024 at 5:00 PM will be allowed to vote for Congressional District National Delegates to the 2024 Democratic National Convention in their respective Congressional Districts. Per Standing Rule 22 and the 2024 DPH Amended Delegate Selection Plan.

Ballots will be handed out at the Tapa Tower at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
The ballot must be signed by the Delegate to be cast and counted.

2024 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTORS

ALL Delegates (Elected, Automatic, and Appointed) appearing in person at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, and who submitted their - Electors Pledge of Support Form* - by May 2, 2024 at 5:00 PM will be allowed to vote for the 2024 Presidential Electors. Per Standing Rule 23 and the 2024 DPH Amended Delegate Selection Plan.

Online Voting Date & Time:
Saturday, May 18, 2024 at TBA
Paper ballots will be handed out at the Tapa Tower at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
The ballot must be signed by the Delegate to be cast and counted.
